In our Dec. ‘98/Jan. ’99 premiere issue we featured the art of Lau Chun which is exhibited at THE ROYAL HAWAIIAN HOTEL. Editorials included Kim Taylor Reese’s "FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY" and another critic’s honest opinion of "THE GICLEE". Featured artists included: Aldag, Brigitte Coley, Edgardo Garcia and Teri Inouye.

In our Feb./March ’99 issue we featured Daniel Van Zyle on the cover and Dana Queen’s "PRELUDE TO A KISS" graced the inside cover. Island artists included: Carli Oliver, Janet Stewart and Richard Pettit. Editorials included Dexter Doi’s "HAWAII FIVE-O REUNION" original oil painting and "CASTING BRONZE" by sculptor Jan-Michelle Sawyer.
